Fall Arrest Rescue
A fall arrest rescue involves a system and plan to safely stop a fall and retrieve a worker suspended in a fall arrest system. Fall arrest systems are used when other safety controls are not reasonably practicable. Fall rescue plans detail procedures for retrieving a worker from height, potentially including self-rescue, ladder rescue, or mechanically assisted rescues.
