Physical Examination - Urine Test, Blood Pressure, Reflex testing, vision (Snellen chart), Breathing, Medical history, vital signs, otoscopic examination of the ears.
Audiometry Screening (Hearing) - Audiometry comprises of a baseline on an employee who has just started work, and then screening which is done annually for someone who is exposed to noise levels >85dB. Employees that are exposed to noise levels>105dB should be screened 6 monthly as well as yearly. Examples of employees working as chainsaw operators, Drivers, Plant operators etc.
Spirometry Screening (Lung function) - This is completed to assess how well lungs work by measuring how much air one inhales, how much one exhales and how quickly you exhale. It is commonly done to employees exposed to hazardous or non hazardous fumes.
Vision screening - A vision screening, also called an eye test, is a brief exam that looks for potential vision problems and eye disorders. Chest X- Ray - it produces images of your heart, lungs, blood vessels, airways, and the bones of your chest and spine. Chest X-rays can also reveal fluid in or around your lungs or air surrounding a lung
Urinalysis - A urinalysis is a test of your urine. It's used to detect and manage a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease and diabetes.
Drug Test - looks for signs of one or more illegal or prescription drugs in a sample of your urine (pee), blood, saliva (spit), hair, or sweat.
